According to an update issued by the National Hurricane Center at 11 p.m., Matthew had maximum sustained winds of 160 mph and was located about 440 miles southeast of Kingston, Jamaica. It was moving west at 7 mph. Various models show the storm turning toward the west-northwest by Saturday night, followed by a turn toward the northwest by Sunday. Some more strengthening is possible tonight, though weakening is expected as it interacts with land.
Forecast issued from the National Hurricane Center: http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/text/refresh/MIATCDAT4+shtml/010259.shtml? It should also be noted that this is the first Category 5 hurricane to form in the Atlantic basin since Hurricane Felix in 2007
Fuck, that grew quickly. Wasn't it just Category 2 this morning?
Why'd they name this one after me?
Why'd they name this one after me?
Fuck off, it was named after me. I'm the better Matt.
Why'd they name this one after me?
Because it blows a lot
Why'd they name this one after me?
Because you're full of hot air when hitting a low pressure system.
What the hell is that thing to the right of it? Looks like another one
Is it coming to Florida? It probably is. I wonder if I should worry this time...
If that thing heads to Florida its going to be a catastrophe I better call my family and make sure they are getting prepared just in case...
Had it been in the middle of nowhere, it would be a gorgeous radar loop. Too bad it's probably going to be disastrous.
If that thing heads to Florida its going to be a catastrophe I better call my family and make sure they are getting prepared just in case...
Alright its in the southern Caribbean, florida needn't worry most likely but Cuba,Haiti, etc are all at major risk
Come and hit me matthew been waiting for a proper hurricane for years, none of this pussy tropical storm shit
My mother just got to florida for a week of vacation. I hope this storm weakens before it hits land.
I hope to god it doesn't head to the central gulf coast. I'm still having nightmares from Rita and Ike.
Why do they give hurricanes such friendly names, I imagine if its something that kills and levels town you'd give it a better name like hurricane "death" or "impending doom"
Looks a lot more like Hurricane fuck-shit-up.
