Halloween was unheard of this year in my neighbourhood. No houses decorated, no people roaming the streets, not even a party. A few friends came over and we went for a walk to cause mischief but we couldn't even do that! There was absolutelly NOTHING. I think this commercial holiday is finally over. That's really to bad. Edit: I ended up eating the candy I bought because not a single person came to the door.
NYC is the best
Oh no, you couldn't even go and ruin other people's evenings. What a shame.
Yeah hardly anyone i know did anything. I didn't do anything either, Just sat on pc as usual.
It was pretty damn decorated. There was a house filled with zombie people, dining on gelatin brains and 'human flesh'. Two mansions turned their house into a maze, one of my neighbors put traps all over(a very obvious one being 'DON'T STEP HERE', or a pie gets flung into your face) and, if not, most of the houses had their porchlights on with a few jack-o-lanterns dotting their porch with various accessories on the lawn. In short, I love my town. :v:
Pretty much.
Dead in my town.
Yup, same here, I saw no decorations, whatsoever
Halloween doesn't exist in my country.
My friends and I were giving out candy at my house, and only three groups of people came to the door. Though, it may have been word of mouth, since I accidentally insulted one mother, who had a bag of candy for herself and I jokingly said: "Aren't you a little old for trick r' treating?" Only then did I realize what I had said. She shuddered and walked away without getting candy. So yeah, for all I know, there could have been hundreds of kids in my neighborhood.
Well partly here. There were people dressed but the parties were in a city nearby and the amount of people dressed was really small. I find that good however, means I don't have to give out candy to brats.
Yo Halloween, I'm really happy for you. I'm gonna let you finish, but Christmas had one of the best holidays of all time
wow, really? is halloween the only event still alive in my town?
It was alive for like 30 minutes here in Winter Haven (Florida).
A couple of fireworks, nothing else. Are you even supposed to let off fireworks at halloween? I thought that was bonfire night. :raise:
Halloween was pretty much dead on my street. There was like one or two pumpkins. I walked across town with some of my friends, and we went to a cook-out. Didn't take anything though.
Everyone steered clear of my house since I decorated it with very life-like corpses i found in the river. Damn it stunk this morning.
Not even celebrated in my country :saddowns:
We only had 3 trick-or-treaters come by..
It rained like a bitch where I lived, plus phillies are in the world series right now so no one in Pennsylvania did shit
Very few people visited and we now have a bunch of candy/chips laying around the house.
Glasgow city centre was bangin
Halloween, est-elle morte?
Over here in belfast there was loads of Halloween shit. Me and my friends stole someones pumpkin and then blew it on the street. Tis was fun
halloween was pretty alive in atlanta, cops on every corner with someone pulled over for dui, i went to a lame house party and then one in some loft it was pretty sick we kind of stayed there all night until like 3 am but it seemed like everyone was having fun and i definitely saw plenty of characters running around in costume
i was at the parade in manhattan, it was good
Not many people around here either, even though quite a few people had their houses decorated. I just stayed with my friends and watched Saw 3 after sitting around a fire.
Dead in France since '03
No, only our goody goody dipshit new neighbors spruced up their yard, an no kids young enough to trick or treat are in my neighbor hood. But hey, Thanksgiving is this month
Here in Andover Kansas, not nearly as popular as I remember it being when I was younger. About 1/4 of the kids I saw when I was a teenager came to the door. Halloween isn't dead, but it's dying.
