I was at a Microsoft event recently and one of the speakers gave a stat about how most time playing mobile games is spent by people, wait for it, on the toilet. Well that got a hell of a chuckle out of the audience. Anyhoo that got me thinking about an idea for an "on the toilet game" and it just so happened that there was a competition going on now for the windows 8 store and windows phone. So I made it in 3 days. Spent the next two days trying to submit it to those respective platforms. to my dismay it turned out after unbelievable torture and hair pulling error after and install after re-install of countless windows programs I discovered that the new windows platforms do not support games written in javascript. Only C# and C++ are acceptable to them. So I gave up as I'm only beginning my 2nd year of game design and C# or C++ aint on the curriculum. Well rant over and if you fancy having a look here's a link to the game on gamejolt. There's a web build there and a downloadable version. A mouse will do the job but the game was originally designed with touch controls in mind. Cheers for reading all that he he.
