The Seven Masks are paranormal masks that exist inside a fictional universe parallel to our own. I have written up 7 simple descriptions of these masks. The descriptions aren't meant to be scary or something similar they are just descriptions I formed from the top of my head and try to describe the masks as best I can. To help clarify while reading:
A Host is a person wearing a mask, they will be referred to as the Sin in which the mask represents (e.g. The Mask of Lust's host will be referred to as Lust).
Now onto the Descriptions, Constructive comments and criticism only please.
Lust
A simple yet tasteful mask, it hides the blemish of the human face only allowing one rotated eye and the mouth to escape it's fierce grip. For purposes of control the mask seals the right eye with a needle and string. The wearer of course needs to eat lest the Lust dies and traps the Mask of Lust in damnation, so to save itself the mask allows the wearer to eat twice a week by ripping itself apart at the mouth of it's wearer. This mask tends to target those who use their appearance to get things.
Gluttony
The Mask of Gluttony is a simple square, it's destruction of the human body are far greater than those of the Mask of Lust. The mask slices off any bit of 'head' left above the mask itself before squeezing the two eyes into one hole dead center in the mask, blood is often seen dribbling from a Glutton's eye in straight downward. Under the mask one will see the Glutton's nose in it's normal shape along with a spread open mouth, the cheeks have been ripped from the gums and are stuck in a square position, the users gum tissue and teeth are clearly visible in this state. This mask tends to target those who spend their life eating without cause.
Greed
As the Mask of Greed's name suggests, it likes to be greedy, thus the Greed has been 'awarded' 9 eyes located on a circle disk in the corner of the mask. This mask is the only one shown to have scratches or damage of any kind, mostly located around the edge of the mask and under the disk. The Greed's nose seems to have been smashed against the face as it has become flat and shows many forms of impact around that region. The bottom jaw has been torn off and replaced along the right side of the Greed's head, the tongue has no support now and is often seen drooping from the head, in some cases however the tongue was completely removed. This mask tends to target those who ask and take more than they have earned.
Sloth
The Mask of Sloth is one of simple and lowly design. It is essentially two puzzle pieces that are connected by a set of, what most would call, teeth. The two tiny sets, which are wrapped around each eye, are hardly seen attached. The mask pieces however are connected by a red strand of solidified blood. Aside from the Sloth's teeth, gums, and split apart neck, there are no other organs or material such as a skull or brain. Further on one would notice the Sloth is also lacking skin. This mask tends to target those who waste their skills and instead do nothing.
Wrath
The Mask of Wrath is one of the more 'horrifying' masks, that is to say it does the most damage to Wrath. The Mask of Wrath rests on the top of the Wrath's head basically encompassing everything above the nose. The Mask has removed Wrath's right eye, and attempted to shut the left eye with a string and needle. The word attempted is used because, unlike Lust, Wrath normally rips most of the string out, leaving a tiny bit hanging from the top. Wrath's pupils in that eye are small and stained with it's own blood. Wrath's nose has also been removed and left with nothing but nostrils, the same can be said for Wrath's lips. Because of the Mask Wrath also sports two long “tusks” on the top and bottom parts of his/her jaw. This mask tends to target those who have earned undeserved hatred from others.
Envy
The Mask of Envy appears incomplete, it attempts to borrow many appearances from the other masks. It's shape is close to that of the Mask of Greed's, stealing the disc. It has many “teeth” running along the right edge, supposedly stealing this from the Mask of Sloth. Envy's right eye is scraped out thanks to the design of the Mask of Wrath, the other eye is stitched shut mimicking the Mask of Lust. And finally from the Mask of Gluttony it attempts to stretch Envy's mouth out, unsuccessfully the only thing it manages is to remove the mouth from the gums, it is unable to keep it stretched out. Envy is probably one of the worse off Hosts seeing is its' mask is so unstable. This mask tends to target those who desire greatly the lives of others.
Pride
The Mask of Pride rips apart Pride's eyes attempting to shape them into a perfect star, it however fails miserably leaving Pride's sight non-existent. The Mask of Pride does not rest on Pride like the other masks do, Pride attempts to stick out from the rest and therefor has instead burnt itself into Prides chest, just outside the heart. Ironically for the Mask of Pride, Pride is usually the only Host who can mask that he in fact has a mask. This mask tends to target those who are known by many and respected by most.
I like it. Captures well.

Thanks, not really sure what 'Captures well' means, but eh.

Ah, I kind of felt that too while writing it, half the time I felt like a scientist or something writing a report on seven well known things.
never the less, very unfacepunchy :)
Yes, it sounds like a report. If that's what you were going for, excellent work.
Are you working for a story or something? Cause that sounds very interesting.
Love to see what Gluttony looks like.

Honestly I had no idea what kind of impression I was going for while writing this, it just kind of came out that way.

I've actually drawn a couple of the masks, but I haven't a scanner to upload them. When school starts back up I will upload them and post them here though.
And I was also thinking of writing a story for these, I think they could end up interesting.
Well I can tell you have a clear view of what these masks look like in your mind. Interesting read.
It demands illustration
I can picture it in my head.
Ewww...
Very interessting anyway...

That actually makes me happy to hear :buddy:
Very disturbing. I like it, but being too overdescriptive did take away from the feeling.
Cool idea, but I can't picture those in my mind
That's why I repeat myself, but in a more especific way:
Make a simple illustration, and, using the images, create a text with more "feeling"

You are in fact a disturbed man... :sharpton:

I have a few pictures drawn, but like before I can't really do anything with them until I get a scanner. :(

woo! etc.
Dunno, do a raw drawing of those in Paint/GIMP, I can't wait to see who it look like
Yeah. Or paint. Whatever floats your boat.
I'm having difficulty picturing the masks. Can you draw them?
