Hello, I made an account previously (just last night, CrapTog) only to post a response to a thread; but now I have decided to create a genuine account. Anyways, I would like to ask for honest opinions on my photographs. I am fortunate enough to own a old 1Ds MK II and a canon 24-105 L lens; but I understand that photography isn't all about gear. I require feedback to know where I need to improve and would appreciate if this community would help me with that area. In the past I've tried to do none to minimal editing, but I now use photoshop to add final touches. Here is my Flickr: http://flickr.com/photos/legitsu This is one of the photos I edited last night, showing you before and after. http://db.tt/nW4lI9Hm I also strongly do not believe that gear is not the be all end all to your photography. Unfortunately for myself, I believe that my photographs with the 1100D are better than the ones with the 1Ds-MkII. This is another one of my photos; only edit was slightly adjusting the curves and adding text. Not really necessary to create a whole thread just for feedback on your work. One thing I will tell you is to lose the text on the image. Secondly, most of your stuff looks pretty good. Nothing really pops out at me. It does seem like you're coming here solely to get views or something. I Don't know why you couldn't just use the original account to post here either. Anywho, welcome to the photography section! Also, from what I see, the photos on your flickr say some were taken with a T3, and some with a 400d. Why none from the 1Ds MkII?

I need feedback on where I can improve as I know I am lacking skills. I'm trying to look for a job so I can also attend workshops. As for the cameras, my original was t3 and then I moved to the 1DS MkII. There are some which I like with the 1DS MkII but for some reason, they're not as 'good' as the t3 camera. I had to use the 400d which is a friends to take photos because at that time, my camera was not working. Sorry, if I am a little bit of an attention... :L Edit: Could you direct me to a more appropriate location to ask for feedback? Thanks I also like your photos of Paige?: http://www.flickr.com/photos/sullyphotoagraphy/7820653236/in/set-72157630974256048/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/sullyphotoagraphy/7750967842/in/set-72157630974256048/
Your photos are boring and you should feel boring. Go to the Creative Photography thread and post specific photos you want feedback for.
