I seem to be passing these requirements pretty well, no problem then!
Holy shit, 16GB of HD Space?
I didn't think it was that big.
Not that much more than COD4...
Not that much more than COD4...
CoD4 is 8GB.

Problem is my Steam games download really slow. I might have to pick up a retail version instead or I'll spend at least a day downloading the fucking thing.

Yeah not that much at all...only double.
I'm surprised people haven't exploded this thread with "WHO IS BUYING 4 THE PC ANY WAY"
[editline]04:22PM[/editline]
On a related note, these are very low system requirements. Were COD4's this low? If not, this seems a little strange...
I like how there's not even a single mention of Windows 7 on the list, despite the fact it has been released already, not to mention RC builds
16 GB?
Ewww.
Guess I'm gonna have to go buy a physical copy :saddowns:
512 mb of ram? seriously?
Holy shit, 16GB of HD Space?

Yeah, Dragon Age is like 20 gigs and its a massive world. Borderlands is 8 gigs. There better be some crazy stuff in there to warrant that much harddrive space.
Then again my computer can't run it so I'll grab for the 360.
Why couldn't they release the recommended requirements too?
It's still based on Quake 3 engine, what do you expect?
It's still based on Quake 3 engine, what do you expect?
Barely, hardly any of it is still Quake 3 other than Quake-C and some small shit. There was an explanation about the Id Software credit on the back on some COD forum way back.
Oh good I can run this easily.
Note the MINIMUM SPECS label, as in if you have this you can run it at 2 frames per minute.
Although CoD4 was pretty optimized.

You can run games on lower hadware than the minimum specs they give. It will just be unplayable. Minimum hardware tends to work okay-ish on the absolute lowest settings. Recommended will run it okay on medium/high.

Quake-C was only in Quake 1. Quake 2 and Quake 3 used DLLs.

Not like a lot of people are gonna buy the PC version anymore, with IW shitting all over the Multi.
I hope that they made explosions that do not consist of 90% smoke. :/
Other than that, doesn't seem much different from CoD 4 and 5 requirements.

Alot of people are probably going to buy it anyway.

it comes down to keyboard or controller.
the multiplayer will be the same
I hate it when they only post minimum requirements. More is obviously going to be needed.
16 gigs? holy hell
i've got a 10 gig per week limit
Preorders are go FYI: http://store.steampowered.com/app/10180/

Not a chance.
I'm getting it for the 360 for these 3 reasons:
I'm a whore for my Xbox
I love me summa dat gamma scoar
And it would melt my laptop if i tried to play it.
Holy shit, 16GB of HD Space?

It's won't take up 16 gig, they always say a few gigs more because a pc with JUST enough space to store it won't have enough breathing space,.
Processor: Intel Pentium 4 3.2 GHz or AMD Athlon 64 3200+ processor or better supported
Sigh, I never meet processor requirements, My 2.20ghz processor's gonna have some difficulties playing this.
