Would this psu http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139027&Tpk=corsais%20cx500 be able to handle this http://www.webhallen.com/hardvara/137250-asus_p8z68-v_le-atx-intel_z68-ddr3-2xpci-e-sata_3.0-usb_3.0 with an i5 2500k and a 5670 that doesn't take up any pci-e 6/8 pin connectors at all? don't bother complaining about bottlenecks, i am fucking aware of how pissy the hd5670 is in comparison to the 2500k
It'll work just fine. I have the same with a GTX 460 and an i5 2500k, but I'm going to go ahead and complain about the bottleneck anyways, if this is for gaming you'd be better off getting a Phenom x4 955 and a better video card, you could even get a i3 2100 if you wanted.
It isn't for gaming at all, i just have the 5670 on my hands so i can just as well use it. I just bought the 500W psu, just to find out that my motherboard is completely dead. [editline]5th October 2011[/editline] But hey, mind explaining what that four pin square connection on my old MA74GMT-S2 is? Sais ATX 12V, my old PSU had such a connector, but new one doesnt.

Yeah, i noticed. Guess i wont be getting that upgrade after all.
Looks ok, buy a bigger one for any upgrades though.
