Same Anomaly Happening Repeatedly - Possible Explanations?

So my friend lives next to a corn field and the farmer that owns it agrees to let us play airsoft in it and in the woods surrounding it as long as there aren't crops growing in it at the time. We've played airsoft in this area as often as possible during the summer (every or every other weekend during summer). It is ussually followed by a sleep over in tents outside(right next to his house mind) And this same general thing has happened on multiple occasions, but two are the most memorable. One, last summer, at around 1 am me and my friends heard coyotes call out, and the wind died down. At the same time, the lights in the neighbors house turned off. We all get slightly phased by this but try and ignore it. Usually our camp out consist of endless talking around the fire untill the sun comes up. During which we'll usually just look around with our flash lights out of pure curiosity. Well my friend Jake was sitting in the chair next to me, and we were facing the field. He turns on his mag light and points it into the empty corn field. And I shit you not we both saw a black outline of a man. Unfortunately he was doing sort of a sweeping movement and when he went to look at it again it had disappeared. Tricks on the eyes perhaps, but the next one not so much.
Again, same scenario but this time it's around 10 pm. Now this one kid Steve, he's sort of wierd but nothing too crazy. He just acts funny when his ADHD meds wear off. So we packing up our stuff so we don't have to do it in the morning when I notice he's missing. We go and look for him but he didn't get far, we found him pointing his airsoft gun and flashlight into the woods about 50 feet from our area.

We find this a little odd so we ask him whats up. He claims that he heard something moving around, but the footsteps were paced and loud enough to be human. So Jake (being the adventurous type) Is all for going in because him along with everyone else is sure that it's probably a deer or something wandering around. So we grab our guns and tape flashlights to them and go in. We're sorta screwing around, quoting COD4 and pretending to be all tactical and stuff, until we hear the noise Steve was talking about. Now I don't know how to explain it, but it sounded "off". Like as in I could tell just from the sound that whatever was wasn't supposed to be there and wasn't anything good. I turn around to see the confident grins completely wiped from my friends faces as an ominous feeling waved over all of us. We all started searching with our flashlights until finally we spotted something about 200 feet out. Again with the dark outline. If I had to visualize it, I would say It was almost dead on with the creepy figure from the Dear Esther HL2 mod. Needless to say we all booked it.
Now the most hopeful theory is that it's the farmer playing tricks on us, but that seems unlikely because he doesnt live anywhere near there. Similar strange occurances have happened to us in the same area. I'm guessing it's the paranormal, but if anyone else has any theories do share.

Next time this stuff occurs, turn on the camera for a few hours and try to record as much phenomena as you can.

Let me just tell you that if I owned a farm, I would let kids play airsoft/camp on it just to fuck with them at night.
That being said, it's probably Bigfoot.
If it was bright and red/yellow then it could be a build up of lightning that's simply floating really close to earth. I shit you not, this can actually happen.
I read a story like that were some guys and there girlfreinds went camping and brought the dog so at like 3 am aperantly the wind stopes they hear some thing I can't remeber what so the dog who's outside goes crazy barking and they here it in the bush and pack up and leave then tha same shit happens when they went back with like ten freinds

If it's happening repeatedly it ain't an anomaly now is it.
If the fields had any sort of plants in them at all (Crops or otherwise) it's just the wind casting shadows as the plants move around.
Bring a camera, definitely. Make sure it's concealable so you can whip it out instead of just toting it around looking obvious. Turn flash on and take a few photos or have a friend do that and record video of the same area. Make sure you can also turn on the recording before it comes out of your pocket.

We thought it was the farmer but he lives a couple miles away and I doubt he'd drive all the way there just to freak us out for a second.
