The tape is currently being shopped, according to Vivid Entertainment CEO Steve Hirsch, who confirms he was approached with the tape by a third party, but did not say if he or anyone else had made an offer to purchase the tape.
The former wrestler and reality TV personality's lawyer David Houston [URL="http://www.tmz.com/2012/03/07/hulk-hogan-i-had-no-idea-sex-was-being-filmed/#.T1ewkpfLwbI"]released a statement[/URL] expressing that his client is "appalled at the unauthorized release of a secretly filmed video," adding, "[Hogan] neither approved of the filming nor the release of the same. It is clearly an outrageous invasion of privacy and breach of trust if it is genuine."
Houston promised that he'll take all the necessary steps to enforce both civil and criminal liability.
Hogan was most recently in the news addressing rumors he's gay.
