So, I read about lucid dreaming, and I might even try it, but first I'd like to know what the good in it is. Is it that you're able to decide where your dream is going, so you can wind up some awesome stories about yourself having adventures with some chicks, or for some other reason?
Because if that's the reason, then I'm fully convinced.
Sounds like fun. Try it.
Sex.
No, but really, you can do whatever you want. I have been flying around a city and throwing fire from my hands. Pretty fucking sweet.
The possibilities are endless
Want to do real life noclip to an upside-down active volcano and fight evil cyborg nazi dogs all with the face of morgan freeman?
Now that's possible
Also get help

My nipples got hard
Tell me more
There's a Megathread about it for a reason.
Also you will have the scariest night of your life.
It's less like Lucid dreams more like Lucid Nightmares
I've always wanted to do this :sigh:
I only become lucid/aware when I need something in a dream, like money or keys. If I do it too much I wake up
I've had 2 of these, I have to get back into doing it.
You must keep in mind though that it does take a long time to get one, stay with it and keep trying.
Ask DiCaprio for tips, he's probably a pro.
Yes you can dream that you have sex with her
Unfortunately, for most people if they get too aroused or excited, they get out of a dream. There are actually tricks to keep you inside a dream if you feel like you're going to wake up. I can't really remember any, you could look on google.
It's like real life but you can do anything you can imagine.
And may I direct anyone interested in this kind of thing to this thread here:

You'll find zinayzen and solid jake in there, both cool guys when it comes to help or interpretations regarding lucidity or dreams in general

If they're truly lucid, then they aren't scary.
Being chased by a guy with a chainsaw isn't that scary when you have the power of the gods in your hand.
By turning the chainsaw into a transvestite donkey witch in a dress
I found 1 banana an hour before bed significantly increases my lucid dream chance.
When you get lucid, go to sleep in your dream, twice the sleep in half the time who wouldn't want that?

:psyduck:
We must go deeper.
I've been trying to get better at dream recall, not got too far yet. :frown:
Then I'll try getting into dem lucid dreems
Not long ago I dreamed I was in a car. I wanted to listen to my MP3 player and I was searching for it in my car. I found it and before I plugged it in my radio, the radio started to play the music I had on my MP3. At first, I wasn't aware of it, but then I realized that it's not possible. Next to me my mom was sitting and saying something to me. I replied:"I don't even care mom, I'm dreaming anyway". And then I don't really remember what happened.
Lucid dreaming can be epic, you should definitely try it.
In my dreams I can control them as soon as I realize I'm dreaming, Personally I treat it like a video game with different commands for such things, its easy to organize that way. Once you figure out how to control everything you can do anything. The movie inception reminds me of my dreams, I actually stole the idea where the hotel is spinning and tried it. I woke up and almost puked.
So be careful and go at it.
You can do a bunch of cool shit like conjuring a fugly monster.
Lucid dreams are awesome because they feel exactly like real life, they look crystal clear and the only difference is that you can do ANYTHING. In lucid dreams, you're god himself.
But it takes a lot of practise to be able to stay in them longer than five seconds without waking up from excitement. I mean months or years. Being able to control your excitement and emotions is extremely important. Adrenaline is the ultimate dream killer.

Also it helps if you set yourself a goal to do BEFORE you get in the dream. You have to have something you want to do in the dream, so think it up beforehand. You don't want to waste precious lucid dreaming time into "ohh.. hmmm.. I wonder what I should do".
I killed my entire class once just cause I could
then raped some hot girls
was fun
Ehh my lucid dreams always end up in massive rape. I panic to think, I'm going to wake up. So I get on with raping every girl. These girls are projections of real life classmate girls. Good while it lasts.
But the best thing about Lucid dreaming, is that the dream, is playing like a movie. And when I realize I am dreaming. The movie doesn't stop rolling. Everything is taking it's course. The only difference, is I can spawn things, and somehow change the plot of the dream and take decisions!
I have been shot in my Lucid Dreams without my control. Feels like not being able to breath, and taking up less air!

In my longest Lucid Dream, it was mostly action. Running away from priests, and to kill some kind of "Lord priest" aka the boss of all those non-playable characters! In the end of the dream, god smited me.
There was lots of addredaline, so I don't think, addredaline is a lucid dreaming killer.
However, being too aware. Makes everything collapse until you wake up!
It's proven that effective Lucid Dreaming significantly decreases the likeliness you are to have a nightmare. People who suffer from constant nightmares and Night Terrors are recommended to adapt to LD as a way to sleep better and not get nightmares. Also if you get Lucid Dreaming down, you can dream in your dream.
Also, avoid looking into mirrors, tv's, windows, or computers in your dream, psychologically, your chance of a nightmare increases from these as something unexpected may pop out and scare you or your dream can go south very fast.
I heard it can feel very much like waking life, with endless possiblities to what you can do.
I have been trying to achieve it and been reading about it for over a year now.
Edit:
Also for those that can do it, do you have any tips for me so I can have my first?
Thanks
