But it was still a really enjoyable game. Now people actually are looking towards a new release, given that it's been over four years now since Left 4 Dead 2 came out and it had begun to really stagnate until they had it free for a day.

Calling it now, Left 4 Dead 3 will have micro-transactions with eye-scorching hotpink socks.

Whatever it is it will be a disapointment considering every single Valve press conference people expect hl3.

The more news and further along that steambox gets, the closer we get to half-life 3 and source 2.

Over the past two years, we've seen their take on DotA, and a prettier Counter Strike. They haven't done any new IP, they've started a self-branded computer line, and that's about it. Steam's great, but it's not new. They need to do GAMES. New games, not reskins of old games. I doubt we'll see anything like that from them for a while, though. It's not where the money is. The money's in the hats.
