borderlands? fucking seriously? sounds awful.
As a fan of Borderlands 1 and 2, I cannot understand why the fuck do you need a Telltale game about this.
I guess you both never played Walking Dead or Wolf Among Us.
I did play Walking Dead I mean Borderlands can only be half-serious, unlike Walking Dead which is entirly 'serious' game.
maybe they'll go by true borderlands style and release shitloads of dlc for it. Telltale doing borderlands is stupid. Game of thrones is good - there is a decent plot there. Borderlands is just a self-confessed game about killing and getting loads of guns.

I'm fine with this, but I don't want Anthony Burch writing the Borderlands thing as I don't like his writing too much despite really enjoying the universe that Borderlands was set in.

Borderlands contains a good universe.
All we need now is Telltale TF2. I don't like point-and-clicks and I'd shower them with money for that.
Multitasking is bad.
why not round out the trifecta of tv-game adaptations and make a breaking bad game?
why not round out the trifecta of tv-game adaptations and make a breaking bad game?
Please don't.
I really hope that they can keep a steady release date for their episodes. I'm already a bit upset that the Wolf Among Us has been delayed and without much information at all, it's pretty vague. Orginially it was planned at the start of november. The episodes are somewhat nice but they really need to release them at a steady pace without any delays. Also they can be quite expensive. Nevertheless Telltale games are quite unique and decent.
Sounds like you didn't play Sam and Max then.
Yea, I didn't. Apologies
I hope they're not overextending, there, I mean, that's 4 different point n click games at once..
I hope they're not overextending, there, I mean, that's 4 different point n click games at once..
You said it. Telltale is good at this but too many projects may decrease quality. Let's just wait and see.
I hope they're not overextending, there, I mean, that's 4 different point n click games at once..
And they already suck at releasing their games in a steady period of time, the episodic content is also pretty small and makes it overall just annoying to wait so long to play another episode.
Is it bad that I'm more interested in Borderlands than Game Of Thrones?
Does that mean we're going to have a Poker Night 3 with Ned Stark in it ?
I dunno what to think about Borderlands getting a Telltale game, since most of Telltale's stuff often require you to have grown up with a LucasArts adventure game in order to properly enjoy them. The reason why i feel that you need to have a LucasArts adventure in your childhood is because someone who hasn't interrupted me while I was playing The Walking Dead by sending me a message saying that the game was "booooooring". And we don't even know how much Borderlands players have grown up with a LucasArts adventure.

Im pretty happy about the Borderlands thing and Game Of Thrones even. Both are good basis and have space for good storytelling. The variety of characters in Borderlands might be the strength though. What i really wanna hear is when Telltale does a HP Lovecraftian Game. Come on Guys, i wanna live my dreams.
And The Walking Dead is only about killing zombies. edit: I guess, some didn't get the joke.
I feel so sorry for you.
Is true Borderlands has a lot of action so that's why people can't imagine a point-and-click game out of it but I'm sure Telltale can create a really good game out of it.
Honestly, I'm more interested in the Borderlands game than the Game Of Thrones game.
That trailer for Tales of the Borderlands is so weird. Those characters were never meant to move so smooth, it's unnerving.
The Borderlands thing sounds incredibly weird but it would definitely work. There's loads of room for storytelling within the Borderlands universe.
Borderlands has many strong points and story is not one of them.
