Hello. For the last couple of months my computer has been EXTREMELY loud, more specifically my gpu.
At any given time my GPU temperature is (according to MSI Afterburner) idle 76C which is very high. It is at 99C when I play simple games like Guild Wars or Starcraft 2 on the lowest graphics possible. When I try to play Skyrim it gets to 100~C and after a while it simply shuts down.
Idle my CPU fan speed is at 57% and when gaming it is usually at like 90-100% which sounds like a plane taking off really..
I don't know what to do or what is causing this, is my GPU dead or what is going on??
Any help is appreciated.
It will be dead if you just let your pc shut itself down and get to a temperature that high. You need to find someway to cool it down. Try clearing dust out the PC, make sure fan is working on the GPU, maybe try using the computer with the side of the case off
