Alright so I just finished up programming it tonight. It's called Pic Dash ([url]www.picdash.com[/url]) basically it's like fatpita or fukung but it uses an algorithm to find pictures most like ones that you think are funny. It does this by tracking your like/hates (so use the buttons!!!).

Well, 1/3 of the pics are from 4chan, another 1/3 is a "motivational poster" (which is hilariuz xD), and the remainder is from chain letters circa 1996.

Yeah, the whole point of the website is to kind of figure out "what is funny right now" I'm working on an image scraper that will just troll a ton of sites and grab pics. Some might question legality but seriously...no pictures on the internet are originally these days. What's more, the places I'm getting them have no concern for copyrights on images.
As far as the rating not working to show you the funny pics... right now there's only about 300 pics on the site and about 500 ratings total. That's not enough for the algorithm to work properly yet.
I haven't laughed at any of them.
The problem I think with the "funny factor" is that you guys have seen most of the pics. I personally don't find them that funny either. However, I showed the site to a bunch of my friends and they all laughed at pictures I barely even smiled at.
Did you time travel back to 1998 to get half of these or something?

It looks mediocre apart from the shitty images. You would have been better off posting this in PCHS -> Web Programming, not General Discussion.
Watermarking unoriginal/stolen photos is stupid.
The point of it though is to gain interest in the website if the image is hotlinked..I've since removed it on all new uploads

Yeah, there's about 1/3 of the pics with big watermark and 2/3 with small watermark. I haven't uploaded any more since I removed the auto watermark from the script.
