Yep, this is interesting. Been a long time since we've had a Zelda that involves a parallel universe; last time that happened we came across the reality of Termina, where apparently the Giants act as the ruling deities rather than the Golden Goddesses.

Zelda's storyline has always been 3 separate parallel universes.

Actually in an IGN interview, it looks like Termina might be involved in this game as well.
Maybe Ganon/dorf won't even be in this game!

Termina too?! Holy shit this is gonna be awesome; truly a link between worlds.
Also when I said parallel universes, I meant like travelling between them. And yes, the timeline does indeed have parallel universes, though they're more alternate timelines that branch off from the Hero of Time's battle with Ganon, whereas the branching point for Lorule and Termina could be anywhere; for all we know Termina could have branched off from Skyward Sword wherein Zelda/Hylia was corrupted by the demonic forces and was transformed into Majora, and the Link of that timeline was in fact the Fierce Deity, or became the Fierce Deity out of despair from having lost Zelda to darkness. For Lorule, I'm guessing it musta branched off near the first days of the world, due to the presence of the inverted Triforce (possibly suggesting an alternate sect of goddesses or a misinterpretation of what they represented?).
hyrule
lorule
haha that's p. clever
