So, it's basically the same thing with a different name and enemies?
Eh? Weren't they making the official RE2 remake?

I've been wondering what would happen if you took a combat system like RE4 had and stuck it in RE2 or RE3. Mostly thought that you'd break the game's difficulty in half. You'd need tweaks to implement a system like that in order to not ruin the challenge. That or just severely limit the ammo you're given but that sounds like a bit of a cop out.

The majority of stuff this team used was ripped assets straight from the games. Models, maps, animations, and sounds. What did they think was going to happen?
