Ambergris is a substance secreted by sperm whales which is thought to protect against intestinal irritation caused by the beaks of their prey, squid and cuttlefish
Large pieces of the substance are vomited up by the whales and, once disgorged, float on water. Over ten to 20 years, the soft, foul-smelling waste solidifies and its odour mellows to become sweeter and more musky
It has the nickname of floating gold, due to its value to the perfume industry, but has also been used as incense, medicine and a food flavouring
In correct money for the 3kg haul that's worth £43,000 (or 50,000 eurobux)

That's weird, the vomit has different patterns in each picture.

Most of the stuff that goes into perfume smells like shit. It's just that for some reason, our brains register the smells as pleasant when they're diluted by a lot.
The unusual stone, which had washed up on a beach in Morecambe, England, gives off a musky smell that has been likened to the smell of horse manure.
So smells it like the rest of Morecambe then.
My oh my; fortunate to find precious ambergris just laying around on the beach. Hopefully he acquires a good sum for that chunk.
