• Looking for a Gaming Laptop.

Well, my little old HP that could is on its last legs and I figure that its time to invest in an actual gaming laptop. I've been looking at two; The Alienware m17x or the ASUS G75VW. Both look fine Specs wise; but the Alienware seems a little overpriced (not to mention the rather 'polarizing' opinions people seem to have on them), and while researching the ASUS, I've noticed it had some fairly low benchmarks; Crysis 2 on Ultra with full 1080p resolution seemed to hover in the 20-30fps range. That seems low for a rig built for gaming. While I don't really play games like Crysis, (Mainly TF2, Gmod, Starcraft, and some others) I'd still like to have the option to. Of course, if anyone has some first hand experience with these machines, or if anyone has any suggestions on other gaming laptops I'd love to hear them.
What are the specs of them? Then everyone doesn't have to go to Google :3

Actually Crysis 2 is VERY optimized game and should run fine in most mid-high end computers/laptops. I had a PC with Nvidia GT225, AMD AThlon II and 4gigs RAM (pretty shitty comp) and it ran Crysis 2 in High settings 30 - 50 FPS
20-30fps on ultra on a laptop like that is fucking amazing, it should play GMod at a blistering 200-299fps at least on max settings. Want better, get a desktop and build it yourself.
Sager NP9170. http://www.sagernotebook.com/index.php?page=product_info&model_name=NP9170
Pretty much sure this thing does have very high temps and is very noisy in 3D gaming. Would recommend ASUS/MSI (even if I don't agree with their external designs) rather than Sager-Clevo imo, with graphics cards like these

Any laptop with a high end gpu such as the 670/680 will be hot. But the asus tends to be cooler, but the sager is cheaper. Go for the Asus G75 series. I just got this one, and I have been very happy with it. It runs Spec Ops: The Line on max settings at around 30 fps (Not great, but playable) The temps never go over 50°C, the cooling system is very effective. The fans don't get very loud either, I usually don't notice the noise. It's a really cool looking and beefy laptop as well, if that matters at all to you.
