Getting strong Spacebase DF-9 vibe from this.
Will it be as empty as starbound?
wow that is some very fine pixel art there. love the aesthetic of this game and the pseudo-3d backgrounds (which i'm guessing are actually just 3d walls and shit). hoping this game turns out good.
Will it be as empty as starbound?
Thought the same thing. Starbound was such a soulcrushingly disappointing experience that it has stopped me from preordering games ever since.
Get Starbound, download Frackin Universe, have fun. It's almost overwhelming
If it can be modded to the extent that Starbound was then I'm completely fine with it even if Chucklefish messes it up again. The amount of content in the big mods alone for Starbound could easily be their own standalone game.
Why do people compare it to Starbound? Chucklefish is publishing it, not developing it. Just because they are the publisher doesn't mean it will lack content.

This sure looks interesting.
I've been tempted to back this since I first heard of it. But I am struggling because I've been let down so many times with EA and Kickstarter.
