I was really put off by the mapping, it's kind of bad
I downloaded and played a little bit of this, basically the first couple of maps, and have no motivation to continue it what so ever. The mapping is just straight up bad in many areas. Brush based ladders and simple geometry (even by source standards) were found around every corner. Not to mention the antlion spam in the beginning and the lack of health. You start at 25 health and even after a finding a few health packs the antlion workers pretty much guarantee your health will stay around 25 for a good while. The poor mapping combined with antlions(!) around every corner makes the gameplay generally unfun. I did not progress far enough to encounter other types of enemies and have no intention of revisiting this mod to do so.
The only "redeeming" quality (and I use that term lightly) was the okay/above average voice acting.

Absolutely the same, after witnessing square brush ladders, weird level design decisions overall (stone levers, stone sliding bridges? what the fuck?) and antlion spam in tight corridors while you have 20hp and a pistol, I just dropped it
Ok I got back to it, switched difficulty to easy and completed thinking maybe it gets better and fuck no it doesn't
It's average at best, levels don't make any sense in how they're connected to each other, also one of the levels is a carbon copy of dark souls' undead asylum :v:
