I'm looking for as good of a build as I can get with $400. I'm in the US, and I love New Egg. I don't need a monitor, keyboard, or mouse, but I may need speakers. I already have Windows 7 too, so that won't be needed. I'll be using this to play some games. I also have an old EVGA GeForce 8800GT, not sure if it's still useful for anything or not. Thanks for the help.
What games?
Need a new HDD?
What games?
Really just anything. I'm looking more for the most power I can get out of this build.
Need a new HDD?
Yea, but something around 250gb should be good. I don't need anything too excessive. [editline]9th June 2011[/editline] I guess I'll be needing a CD/DVD drive too.
There's not much you can do with only a budget of $400, try saving up another $100-$200 if you can
Yea, I realize that. Would this be a good deal though? http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboBundleDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.668119 I realize it doesn't have a graphics card, but I guess the one I have could work, but I'm not sure how well. Could a build like that play, let's say, TF2 on medium settings?

Yes, but the PSU is absolutely terrible and you shouldn't use it
Hahaha, alright. I'm just trying to get an idea of what I could potentially do. Thanks
use the 8800, and when you can afford it buy a 5770, 5850, 6850, or whatever else. or: - and there are cheaper HDD that are recerts if you're not afraid of that, and NEED to be under $400 [editline]9th June 2011[/editline] oops, replace those DVD drives with http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827151233
Go for Shadaez's i5 build. It's really good for the price. Here is a comparison between the 965 and the 2400: http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/102?vs=363
