It's still a shitstorm when so many "simulators" are being produced.
It was funny when surgeon simulator did it,
It got redundive when we got goat simulator,
now it's just ridiculous and overused as a way of "huehue this game's taking the piss"

When the trailer was first posted everyone was raving about it.
It still looks really cool to me, I really want to try it out.

This is exactly why the dev of Yandere Simulator wanted to change the name of the game; it's a fun name but it's like aidscancer because of the games people associate "x simulator" games to be like
Who cares if it's called "Simulator"?
The trailers make it look fun as fuck, and being one of the first VR games and looking like THAT is promising. It looks extremely pleasing to the eye, as well. Not like the shovelware simulators that plague Steam.
All of the weirdly specific and poorly made shovelware simulator games for swedish people made it a genre where you could just make a shitty game, add some jokes, and boom you got a hit because it's ironic and not -actually- bad even though making an actual Simulator game would be far beyond most developers ability.
It's like those 2d retro side scrollers. You make em because they're easy and people buy them.

still gonna get the game regardless if it has simulator in the title because that shit looks fun as hell
Despite being sick of X Simulators, I'd probably play this and Surgeon Simulator in VR.

Actual simulators you mean? Most joke simulators aren't really fit for VR.
I played this on a Vive demo. It was really fun.
