If this is the price to pay for a [I]Free DLC Multiplayer EA[/I] game, I'll take it. [editline]29th June 2017[/editline] And let's be honest, people eat that crate shit up, even if it is malicious. Might help with the low-pop issues with the first game.
I haven't watched the video, I hate that youtube channel, but if he doesn't mention it, the drop rates of rarer items are increased for the Alpha, so don't take that as representative of the final game. Plus there are a lot less items dropping because of there only being two factions and 4 heroes in it.
So the crates are pay2win. Doesn't matter if you don't have to buy them, if you can you'll get an advantage easier and quicker.
