Should I get a laptop around Christmas time since the prices will be extremely discounted rather than around August 2010?
This sounds like a simple question...buuuut, I will not be unboxing/building it until around then or I will just be using it at home because I will not bring it to my high school and I already have a desktop at home.
Just wondering if this is OK, cause low prices vs. outdated technology?
I know this question sounds dumb, but I didn't know exactly how to word it as how it sounded in my head.
Thanks guys.
do you guys hate me that much?
bamp
I don't hate you. I'd get one. I wouldn't mind a new one as well.
Get one on Black Friday. The new ones will be cheaper as well.
buying it 2/3rds a year early? ye gods no, they'll probably be even cheaper by then and much better
although I'm in the UK so I don't know how discounted BF is, but I doubt it's half off or something

let's try to be less american and assume everyone knows what your holidays are
Black Friday is when the day after the U.S Thanksgiving. Every think is super cheap.
People will get up at about 3 A.M just to go shopping.
We're talking about maybe 2/3 off stuff.
I bought all the Metalocalypse dvd's for $10 that day as part of a combo.
So is your suggestion to buy a laptop on Black Friday then, rather than wait until next summer?
