• How should I fix this?

To put it simple I let my friend upgrade my computer. He smoked WAY to much weed and took an Oxycontin. I'LL ADD THIS IN. WELL, I DID NONE OF THIS SETUP. MY FRIEND DID. I would like it if you could tell me what problems I need to fix of his. What he did: IS THERE ANYTHING I SHOULD DO? Suggestions please. I spent a good 350$ on this small upgrade. Note that I said small. I'm upgrading in the future for around 1500$. Not doing it now. Can anyone give me some potential help to fix what he did? Insults are welcome. I'm sitting here, wanting to play ArmA III Alpha and can't cause my idiotic friend had to ruin my new upgraded comp. My opinion: NEW FAN - CASE - HEATSINK? Wait what is is exactly wrong right here? sorry if I'm blind
Pretty hard to tell what is "wrong" with it from that picture. Especially if you can boot into it and get to windows (which is how I assume you are using speccy).
Wait what is is exactly wrong right here? sorry if I'm blind
That's why I'm asking you guys. The fan overheats if the side panel is blocking it. Since it sucks in air. Which is totally fucked. The case has horrible ventilation. Wiring is also fucked. I'm wondering if you notice anything else or have suggestions.
Well you told us quite literally none of that. Which "fan" overheats? How about adding some fans in the back where some are clearly supposed to go?
Buy a rear case fan? Why arent you running one in the first place?
Buy a rear case fan? Why arent you running one in the first place?
Look. I didn't know my friend would screw over my computer, all of that in there was installed by him. I'm just looking for suggestions on how to fix his problems. I wish the top of the thread made sense to you guys. It isn't my fault, and I'm trying to fix his problems.

Because even without a rear fan your case has enough holes for passive air to flow in
No offense but is english your first language? You really aren't explaining anything here. Not to mention that picture shows now problems, cable management is a bitch anyways. I mean you could tidy it up a bit but disorganized cables won't fuck anything up if everything is plugged in correctly.

If you're having problems overheating the I recommend Installing a rear case fan, you can get a cheap one for about 10-15 US$. Think "flow" when you install your fans also, I always put a small fan or two in the front of my comp if it allows for it, sucking in, then I place a the rear fan blowing out, thus sucking cold air in and blowing hot air out. I see on your picture that you have a place for two rear fans, I would utilize both of them blowing outward. also make sure your wires arent disrupting airflow from the front of the computer, and dont sit it directly on carpet or in High Dust areas. Also after a quick overview it seems your computer is hooked up properly but I cannot tell about the case switches. If it wont power on, start at those wires. Other than that I can't help you unless you tell me what is wrong.
What problems do you have, and what did he upgrade. Crappy pictures dont tell shit.
Its not an insult its a comment on the picture and you still haven't exactly told us the problem DIRECTLY which would greatly help us all
I did. I'm asking if there is any problems that you guys NOTICE.
well these seems to be nothing, I mean cable management is not good but that may be the case fault more
This thread made my head leak brain fluid. On a more pratical note, as the case looks like it has 2x80mm rear fan mounts, I would guess it's quite old, so maybe a new case is in order?
