Imagine having this much money and not spending it on bullshit
That scouts face is amazing.
I would get that as a spray if I could
70% of the games he owns he hasn't played, and I thought I was bad.

this man is a trash collector
Imagine having this much money and not spending it on bullshit
I own like 8.6 percent of it (863 games) and most of my games were part of a bundle. Sometimes there is just a single game in the bundle you want but the bundle is still cheaper than the game alone anywhere else. So is it really wasted?
That guy however just wants to hoard trash.
Hyptronic has built one of the largest Steam libraries in the world, with a total account value of $83,208
That's extreme digital hoarding:wideeye:..

He could trade it for a new loaded Mercedes
But to be fair he probably already owns one

One would hope they do. I wouldn't trade in a Mercedes for a shitty steam account.
I mean it's a harmless hobby, and at least he's never stuck for choice

on an unrelated note - damn I miss olive green steam
I'd feel having an account too unique or valuable would kind of make you a target.
If these were all games he actually wanted then it would be somewhat understandable, but hoarding games that you don't even want just for the sake of hoarding them seems absurd. If they were rare or difficult to get or had some reason to actually own them beyond for lack of a better word, greed, then it wouldn't be so bad...but this is wasting money just for the sake of it. Saying he does it because "I’ve the option and freedom on Steam and can browse between many titles and play whenever I want to"" but then not having played 80% of those games almost, and even high quality, well-known, well-reviewed games haven't been played, is just stupid.
