Thanks for letting me know.
Very informative.

Ok well my point is, I need something to throw back at him because, I can't think of anything without it sounding dumb.
Fascinating.
I always wondered that, and now I know.

It will sound dumb whatever you say
"Enjoy your expensive paperweight!" is a good one.
But an AIDs ward only has one virus, anyway; AIDs.
Mac can get viruses, but noone makes them since the people who use Macs are not many compared to the PC users.

But yeah, whatever you say, it will sound pretty dumb.

Acquired immune deficiency syndrome. (AIDS)
It doesn't cause pretty much anything by itself, you die from the other diseases you get VERY easily with AIDS.
"Enjoy your expensive paperweight!" is a good one.
I will use this one, even though it's not a really good comeback.

"Enjoy your casual puzzle games on Steam ya prick!"?
Our old ICT teacher once told us "MACs are for ponces" :golfclap:
They guy with the mac was like :geno:
Then he is an idiot for reducing a complex situation into the single category of "virus".
But the Apple Store gave me the clap as I was leaving after buying my iPad.
Pretty sure they do get viruses.

Throw knives at him.
But macs are so overpriced and slow already they don't need viruses.
[sp]It's only fucking retarded mofo's dumb fucking dicks noob bullshit poop people that get viruses anyway randomly searching google for incest or random keygens[/sp]

Honestly, I think that the only reason why Macs have no viruses is because that since more people use Windows, virus coders make viruses for what's popular.
Isn't is spelled viruses?

To your surprise, macs are more insecure than windows and do have viruses.
Most are extremely system harming.
Look it up a bit and you'll find a few interviews and reviews about mac security, they ain't as secure as you think.
Macs are better than PCs. Although they are overpriced, too.

Viruses
they're all the same

Linux is better than Mac and Windows. But it really depends on what you use it for.
Also I've used Windows for more than 8 years and have never had a virus, only idiots get viruses.
Virus'

Viruses

Viruses is the correct plural.
Virus' and Virus's is the genitive - depending if you mean the singular or plural. (I'm not natively English but I learned it that way and I'm sure that's correct that way).
When Macs become popular, Mac users who connect to the internet are screwed. I do like Macs, and I'm going to get one for the extremely good movie editing program on them. I just won't connect it to the internet. There are actually multiple resons a Mac can't get a virus. One is that nobody bothered to try and figure it out. Two is that Mac is based from an open source OS, and it's nearly impossible to hide a virus within anything open source. @aVoN you're right. Viruses would've been correct.
Macs are popular, and macs can be targets for viruses. It's just that the OS isn't as susceptible due to fundamental design choices. There are reports of just a handful malicious DMG. files that fall under the blanket term of viruses and spyware for OSX. Although if you compare the half a dozen reports of malicious OSX viruses/spyware to the hundreds of thousands instances of malicious software for Windows it really makes that handful of OSX instances negligible.
But to say no one cares to try and create malicious software must not know the mentality of the people who create the software in the first place. What better claim to fame would there be than bursting the smug OSX bubble?

It's viruses.
It doesn't get PC viruses. There are still quite a few viruses and exploits out there, otherwise you wouldn't have antivirus protection for Mac.
Just correct your teacher saying that they're just uninformed.
