We live on the country side, they use a radio to connect with the net in the town.
Some people say it might be packet loss, what can I do?
If you're on an ethernet connection, there is nothing you can do for dropped packets.
Have you tried connecting yourself directly to the modem too see if the problem still persists? If it does then it's either the modem or your ISP's fault for the dumb internet.
If it doesn't persist, you need to play with the settings in your router. Turn off all "smart" traffic software on it and update it's firmware.
