Four shootings in less than an hour left three people dead in Omaha, Nebraska, police said. Two shooting victims were killed, as was one gunman, who was not identified, police said. Two other people were critically wounded. The shootings all took place in south Omaha on Saturday, the same day the city kicked off the College World Series -- the NCAA championship for baseball.
http://www.cnn.com/2013/06/15/us/nebraska-violence/index.html?hpt=hp_t2 this is just awful, my father is in the area and he hasn't picked up his phone

What a terrible k/d ratio
Police question how .75 people died in each shooting, more at 11
4 shootings and 3 people? 1 shooting sometimes leaves way more people dead, but it's still too high.
Police question how .75 people died in each shooting, more at 11
Technically only .5 victims died per shooting, one of the dead was a shooter.
Technically only .5 victims died per shooting, one of the dead was a shooter.
oh thank god now we just have to figure out if the victims were only half people or if they are only half dead
Police question how .75 people died in each shooting, more at 11
all the victims were amputees
oh thank god now we just have to figure out if the victims were only half people or if they are only half dead
Well, considering there were two dead victims, my guess would be they were two people who were each half-killed in one shooting, then had their remaining half killed in a later shooting. So either one person was half-killed in the first shooting, full-killed in the second, then another was half-killed in the third and full killed in the fourth. Or the first two shootings left two victims half-dead, and they were then finished off by the last two shootings. And regardless somewhere along the lines one of the shooters was killed by police.
Somebody missed.
