I'm not sure if I'll ever get a a new electric, mainly because I don't see any real limitations with what I can do with my Strat.

Aww, I was an hour late! Well, since this is the beginning again, may as well list my equipment: ESP LTD Deluxe Horizon-1001FM ESP LTD EX-401DX Jackson JS-1 Black Reverse Headstock Epiphone Les Paul 100 Sunburst (Bridge pickup is breaking down, or the connections are bad) Art & Lutherie Canadian Folk Acoustic Almond Pearl Forum Drumset Marshall MG250DFX Fender Front Man 15-DSP Zoom R16 Interface Bugera 6262 2x12 combo (On it's way )
I'm tuning my acoustic to A standard at the moment let's hope the top two strings don't snap at the nut like last time
I'm tuning my acoustic to A standard at the moment let's hope the top two strings don't snap at the nut like last time
As in A high standard?! U must be nuts
A as in 7 steps down from standard standard silly and no broken strings this time huzzah [editline]22nd November 2010[/editline] lol playing in E at the 5th fret
Messing with tunings is pretty great been dabbling in DADAAD and CGDACD a bit lately and it's quite fun
DADAAD should be useful for chords [editline]22nd November 2010[/editline] A bunch of fifths and primes which you can raise, I mean
Ugh I'm trying to get back into my guitar playing. I've got a bit of a dilemma. I'm using my POD X3 to plug my guitar in to my PC, and I'm using Amplitube as the amp software (I don't care what anyone says, the line6 software sounds horrible) But there's about a half second delay between my playing and the sound coming out... any way I can fix this?
I demand more gear pics

1997 Squier Jagmaster When I started playing 5 years ago, I bought this guitar for £100, second hand. Due to not being able to afford much new gear, this has been my main guitar, and it plays and sounds like a dream. I play rythm guitar in a band, and this guitar sounds great at every rehearsal. However, due to wanting a change, I am getting a new guitar at Christmas :D
Yeah chording's been fun with dadaad. slides pretty cool too with the 2 A's cgdacd i've been more using to experiment with pedal bass and a bit of chordal stuff, and playing with more chuggy stuff as well
I've written a progressive folk/medieval/pirate metal song in CGCGGC. It sounds gnarly
that sounds pretty awesome actually and actually I was playing around in AEAEAE for a bit today, same thing just a tone and a half down :v:
Increase buffer size => Get more RAM. Oh, and gear pic: [img_thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/gitarrer2.jpg[/img_thumb]
What is that V in the top left?
might as well post my gear. Fender Korean Custom Shop Stratocaster, i recently installed Semour Duncan Hotrails in the Bridge and neck. Maverick F1, with active pickups the neck on it is thinner than the thinnest neck ibanez has to offer. Amp - Blackstar HT-5 combo, all tube amp that is easily just as loud as a 30 watt amp. Pedals - Digitech RP1000 Multieffects unit, dunlop crybaby wah, some others that are not worth mentioning. Recording gear - Shure SM57 Mic, ART tube mp mic pre-amp.
A crappy sx les Pauls that came in a pack, and a 40 watt fender mustang II amp. I may get another guitar in the future, but I've been playing for only 5 months. I'm having lessons and I'm improving fast, I never even dreamed I could play whole songs. Feels good man
yeah especially playing along to the songs i have a playlist in i tunes with seven iron maiden songs and i play them back to back every couple of days, that reminds me i need to learn some more and post them on youtube
Yamaha TRBJP2 Ibanez RG7321 w/ Dimarzio Crunch Lab and Liquifire Custom Strat w/ Floyd Rose and Seymour Duncans 80's Fender 12-string acoustic Godin Classical acoustic Fender Mustang 1 for practice Renting/Soon owning Mesa/Boogie Mark V and matching cab
What is that V in the top left?
It's some sort of Flying V copy. The guys at the music store didn't know where it came from, and I haven't found anything on the internet. It's of nice quality though.. just a bit aged.
My shit: Harley Benton HBP120BK P-bass with Seymour Duncan SPB-1 split coil P-bass pickups. Dean Metalman Z (soon to have Seymour Duncan active soapbar) Harley Benton HBW-80 bass amp Marshall JH-1 Jackhammer distortion pedal Artec APW-5 wah wah pedal
I have An LTD FX-400 Explorer with spalted maple top and active EMGs A Vox AD30VT A Yamaha acoustic (can't be assed to go look at the exact one, but its a lowish end one from a few years ago) An Epiphone EB-0 bass A crappy-ass Dean Bassola 10 amp, but it works. Pedals: Digitech Grunge pedal, Ibanez Weeping Demon (:h:), Boss PH-2 Super Phaser, and an Ibanez FC10 Distortion. And right now I'm looking for a 7 string, but leaning heavily towards the Schecter Damien 7 Elite.
