Is bass your thing?

IF it is, there's also the V-Moda's, which I'd go with.

don't worry about the cable snapping they fixed that with a different shaped plug.
Unless you care about appearance over sound quality, don't get anything by Skullcandy.

Actually Skullcandy has made some pretty legit buds, as long as you take care of them.
They are good quality, just buy the cheapest ones.
I'm notorious for breaking ear buds, but they last me a good year/longer.
Edit: I'm not saying maybe there aren't better, and that there are cheaper out there, I'm just saying they work pretty nicely.
Bose headphones dude. Bose knows their shit.
as for that hat, not sure if i like the colors but you could probably find it at your local skate shop, or just buy it from the website.
Well actually I got some Sennheiser HD-200 and they are really good. They are not bass headphones but they support it 100%. They are more like High Quality DJ/Mix headphones.

Bose is so overpriced it's not funny, they milk the audio market for everything it's got.
!!!! You're back!
okay... both the v-moda and skull candy i've had before, the vmoda seemed to be a bit better but both of them break easy, at the cable plug where the plug turns into cord i guess it gets pushed in bent and frays...
what are the technical differences? and is that fitted cap avalible anywhere? it's fuckin sick

They fixed the plug so it doesn't rip the cord any more.

this
if you're gonna get the smokin' buds, they gotta be the rasta colored ones. otherwise they may as well not be smokin' buds.

those are over priced imo
I had a choice between stealing a $35 pair of skull candies and a $100 pair of sony's, I thought about the skull candies cause they were the "smokin' buds" kind with the rasta shit but I figured why sacrifice quality for looks.
If you're talking buds, I have no idea. But full-size, Grado sr80i all the fuckin way.
Go to any high-end audio site, search Grado, and prepare to drown in praise.

My observations:
-Skullcandy is crap
-If you want noise cancelling + quality get Senheisers
-If you only want awesome sound get Grado (They are not noise-cancelling at all, though)

theyre good. its overpriced because they know theyre good and they can do that. they milk the audio market because they got their shit on lock down.
Sennheiser, Grado, AKG, so many good brands.
Be sure to spend over 100$ if you want something decent otherwise just buy cheap ones that sound lame.

This is a fallacy!

Its true. This guy was showing me a pair of $650 bose speakers he was selling for $150 with a pioneer head unit. Damn I wish I had the money for it cause that was a bumping fucking system.
Be sure to try them out before you buy them, most good shops wil llet you do that (=/= futureshop)
I also suggest you learn the basics of how headphones work before you go shopping (impedance? range? etc.) so you'll know exactly what you want.
If you find out you know more about the stuff than the sales guy, don't bother listening to what he says 'cause it's probably bullshit.

This, they'll try to sell sell sell sell sell and if they can, sell the expensive ones. Look up online, try them in a shop.
