Got Some Spare Parts To Sell, Need An Estimate Of Possible Profit And Idea Where To Sell
19 replies, posted
I got some parts that I think I'm gonna sell, I plan on upgrading.
I want an estimate of how much I'm gonna gain for money for the spare parts.
And I don't have any idea where to sell them, I live in Denmark I know a website, but I think I would be better of selling somewhere else.
Parts:
A new never used boxed Intel Pentium Dual Core E6600 3.06GHZ 2M Processor.
An Intel Pentium D 820 2.8GHZ 1M in used but working condition.
A Nvidia GeForce 7300LE also in used but working condition, comes with a box and manual.
And at last, a Nvidia GeForce 8600GT 512MB Also in used but working condition.
Thanks for the help, if you're gonna help me.
I can probably dig up more information about the different things if it becomes necessary.
E6600 for 390 dkk
the 8600GT for 390 dkk
Pentium D 820 for 170 dkk
7300LE for 170 dkk

Sounds fine enough, do you have an idea of where to sell?
No idea, I converted my currency into yours.
I think I would be able to get more for the E6600, it hasn't been used.
You could inflate the price a bit, but make it less than retail value.
Try Craigslist Denmark if it exists.
Yeah, probably.
you could try qxl.dk

$70 or so is around too much for an 8600 gt... considering a 4670 is $75, and a 4670 will run over an 8600 gt. I would go maybe $50 *not sure what that is in dkk*

Do you have any experience with the site?

iirc there is a tax on computer parts over there, so it's about right.. but that might be somewhere else.

Well. It is better to sell it cheaper so it goes fast then to try and squeeze every penny out of it. Just because it isn't open or used doesn't make it ultra-valuable. If they want to pay full price they will go to a retailer.

Nope. But my neighbor has bought like 30 old cameras on there.
edit: it's like the danish version of ebay
Some I'm almost guaranteed it's going to get sold?
Just leave it there and see what happens
I'll give you a Fiver and a Mars bar for the 8600GT

I'll try that.
D and LE aren't worth a shit. 8600 isn't really very expensive as new GPU today (8800GT has been going for 400DKK, and it's 2x better than 8600GT), only E6600 has some market value.

This.
And seperate the parts, I hate auctions that are all "Buy this load of random stuff for $1!" where half of it is old keyboards / other useless parts.
I'd say the dual core would go for a decent 500 - 600 kroner if it includes the stock fan.
8600GT and the P4 for around 200-300 kroner each.
The 7300 I wouldn't sell. Keep it around if you ever need a low-power graphic card.

I'll raise you. a tenner and a bag of skittles.
