• Looking to change lifestyle and appearance

Idea seems ridiculous and stupid but I'm willing to try at this point. Also some things might be abit of place but I'm not entirely sure, sorry if they are. I'm 5'8 and over 210+lbs. Haven't gone out a lot, and used to eat a lot of junk food. Eating habits are about one bowl of rice + stuff around lunch and one to two for dinner. I never eat breakfast. I really don't keep track of what I eat and the portions. As for appearance I'm just some overweight dude. I know there are threads consulting stuff like this, but I made this one to try and fit my personal goal. I live around a small residential neighborhood that I could jog around but no real access to stuff like equipment. My parents always cook food but I can still control what I eat and such. These days I don't really have much going for me for the time being, but I could do other stuff in the meantime. Am looking to do basically is slim down and get a preferable appearance. I know it takes time and not an overnight thing, but I would like to try and achieve this faster so I can train myself to work harder at other things. My questions are really. How much should I run or jog each day? Like I said I don't really have much going on now so basically I have everyday and most of the day to do stuff. Besides running, what are other things I should do? I'm trying to slim down quick and there are some exercises I could be doing. What can I do to look this way? I'm looking for a slim appearance, not really looking to build muscles. Am interested in building arm and leg strength but I don't really want to build muscles like big arms or legs. What type of food and how much? Basically what diet would fit well with the appearance I'm going for. Other tips and ideas are really welcome. Sorry if it's hard to read, I tend to have trouble putting thoughts into words. Thank you for reading.
You're like those girls who don't want to lift weights to be bulky. The first thing you have to realise that there isn't a systematic approach when hitting various ideal goals. The rule for any weight loss is to eat healthier/smaller portions and exercise.
you dont need to exercise to lose fat, just eat less. Try restricting your daily caloric intake to like 1500 a day and your body will respond accordingly. Exercise will however speed the process
He wont really get arm and leg strength from just losing weight though, he'll have to lift. Also why that kind of strength? Leg is legit but arms are much less important.
"How do I get toned\I don't want to look like a body builder\I don't want to get bulky": - These questions make it sound like getting huge like a body builder just happens by accident. It doesn't. If you are asking this question, I can GUARANTEE it won't happen to you because you have already proven you were too lazy to search, which means you are too lazy to put in the work to achieve those kinds of gains.
just wanted to point this out. being afraid of being a ripped bodybuilder isn't reasonable. you won't reach that point for years.
