• Thinking about upgrading my PC, primarily the Graphics Card.

Right now, my specs allow me to play pretty much everything at a reasonable framerate, but I've always wanted more out of this machine. Could someone point me to a better GPU and anything else for this rig? (I know about the RAM, I'm getting another 4gb soon, probably alongside whatever you all point out for me.) Budget?
Don't worry about a budget. Just get me something that's gonna be able to run things more than the card I've got now. Maybe use some of the specs from the iCEnhancer videos for GTA4 as a basis? I've always wanted to try that out.
6970, GTX 570 or GTX 580
If you can max pretty much everything (which you should be able to at 1680x1050, not including AA) it might just be better off to wait honestly, your machine is more than capable. Waiting for the next revision of cards is a good idea at this point, and another 4gb of ram won't help you in games at all. If you really want to spend some money though get something Armotekma mentions or a small (60gb) SSD for an overall quicker machine.

I guess those are your target specs?
Sapphire 6950 2GB (must be 2GB model) Then flash to 6970, best value for money. I flashed mien the day i got it 7 months ago, have not had any problems what so ever

If you're not worried about a budget, then we're just going to suggest the most powerful and expensive card out there. I play GTA IV at all pretty much max settings at 1600x900 (basically you resolution) and get a perfectly playable 25-30 FPS on my non-overclocked 2500k and 6870. So if you have a large budget, get a 6970, then use the rest for a new 2500k, etc.
