Okay so I have a P4(BIG DEAL) Every so often on Freelancer or DFBHD It randomly decides to freeze(in freelancer its when ever i look at an insanely laggy planet[such as Planet Leeds] or a Nomad battleship and in DFBHD it's just general even at the lowest) The freeze is basically everything stops then the sound just messes up, after a few seconds it's fine for a few minutes unless i look somewhere else. Specs P4 at 2.6ghz nVidia MX440 64MB 1GB ddr 400(2x512mb) XP SP3 Also i've noted that the format my HDD is in is Fat32, would that cause it?
If your harddrive was formatted as FAT, you wouldn't be able to run windows off it. Also i think your gpu is the cause, since my P4 runs games like gmod, l4d2 and bf2 fine. (gpu is 7600gs 256mb)

And a note i didn't, when ever i use Direct 3d and/or OpenGL in any game it starts locking up immediantly.
[QUOTE=Goz3rr;28657329]If your harddrive was formatted as FAT, you wouldn't be able to run windows[/QUOTE] Wrong. But yeah, try updating your drivers, if Nvidia even lists this card anymore. [editline]17th March 2011[/editline] Also, a MX440 128 MB shouldn't draw much more power than the 64 MB version... You could try picking up a >200w PSU from your local flea market, shouldn't cost more than 10-20$.
