Ends represent
Was wearing my blue suede shoes today so had to take them off to wade thru it. Seems much deeper elsewhere.

A Stena Europe ferry left Ireland at 09:00 and was unable to dock at Fishguard, Pembrokeshire "due to extreme weather conditions". The ferry, carrying 87 passengers and 59 crew, will stay at sea overnight and attempt to dock at 12:00 on Tuesday
A pregnant woman and her one-year-old child have been rescued from a car that got stuck in flood water in Essex
Fucking atrocious rain here at Warwick University (near Coventry and Leamington), was pretty close to flooding as far as I could tell as well, almost the entire footpath from my accommodation was filled with water.. Plus I was an idiot and wore my white vans.
I wonder if that underpass in Wallington got flooded again? I mean, there was a ton of rain over the last coupla days, and I still remember the torrential downpour that happened in the summer.
I was there when it happened, where there were two sunken cars as I passed it on the way to the bank, and when I passed in on my way back home there were THREE. This isn't the Oregon Trail, Mister Third Driver. You can't ford a 5 foot deep pond!
It rained all of last night and all the dam day here. But being the lucky fuck I am the rain stopped as I left to bike for work to then continue the second I got in the door. Did the same thing for the way home. No actual flooding here though.
It's just cold as fuck where I am. Some black ice too. Almost slipped on ma puss.
As much as I love the rain, I do fear it when it non stop pisses it down like this, even though the area we live in isn't prone to flooding it still makes me paranoid when a puddle starts forming at the front door.
how can it flood if its an island

Fuck me why didn't we think of this

I dunno but I blame brexit, europe was subsidising our drainage and sending dryness over from Spain, now we have a deficit and we shall sink back into the sea like doggerland. In a century or two the Netherlands will have managed to reclaim what was formerly known as Britain and use it to grow tulips and weed.
Make me glad i live on a hill
I did get soaked like 5 times in the past 3 days though and it doesnt help that i already have some cold too.
Had some pretty bad flooding here last month, hope you guys stay safe.
Up in Leicester and it was atrocious today; never seen rain like it.

It doesnt really help that Warwick uni has taken to covering every green space with concrete.
