There's something awesome about a guy who can not only make great games, but also be so dedicated to just making the gaming experience better. Now that he's working directly with VR, he's probably having a field day with R&D. Probably the main reason why he had to share this information, which was an interesting read to say the least. Besides, from what I interpreted here, he's basically found out a way to eliminate most immediate movement latency in a VR platform, probably with and for the Rift most likely,, since he's had one for a good while.
