So we need an Origin account to play a game we bought on Steam?[/QUOTE]
My question is why they put it in caps.

That kind of stuff is always in caps, for example this is from Settlers 7.

Wow fuck this game.
It's stupid because of Origin shit, plus it's a total rip-off of Perfect Cell (an iOS game).
The screenshots remind me of Alien Swarm

Seriously, EA is assuming direct control of any freedom we have when we buy one of their games.
Might as well just feed the players shit while stealing their money outright.
If it works the way GFWL did for steam games (like Fallout 3) then I see no problem at all really.

So informative, Steam.

I am 99% sure you need steam to run any Valve games.
And its not like you can't run EA games without Origin being on

Haven't you learned? If Valve does it, it's fine. If EA does it, it's evil.
Seriously though, people just like Steam better

Valve has a fucking golden track record compared to whatever EA does.
Seriously, EA does not only use Origin as DRM, they put plenty of other shit in there too. Valve, not too sure.
I'm pretty sure you can buy left 4 dead and other steam games on the ea website. But it tells you that it requires steam
Yeah, its right here actually

I'm pretty sure everyone just wants to buy them on Steam.
I think Origin is only doing any good because it has EA games on it.
