[rant] Why do 90% of the computer cases out there come with freaking blue fans?[/rant]
I've been computer case shopping for the past couple of months on and off. At the moment I have a crappy computer case with all the panels off to stop the jumblefuck inside from over heating. What really raped my mind about the case is that, pulling off the front panel there was a hole drilled out for a front case fan yet the front panel doesn't have any holes drilled for air flow!
The reason I've been on and off case hunting the past couple of weeks, apart from breaking a mates ipod due to my fat ass, is because all the bottom end cases were blue, or had no cooling at all. Mind you I can't justify spending big on a computer case as it's not my main hobby/lifestyle.
Needless to say I've settled on an Antec 900, apart from the blue mind fuck it's pretty good value for money with most fans installed.

Q9400 quad core @2.6 ghz
4 gig god knows what RAM at 800 mhz
9600 GT GPU
rust bucket mobo
tl;dr : I hate how 90% of cases come with blue fans, hypocritically I've settled on a buying a case predominantly with blue fans.
To fix this problem, buy a case with blue led fans, and using a pair of wire cutters, cut the led wires.

But I wanted something like purple or red or something. "buy red/purple fans ya tool" says the douche-bag, but then what do I do with the spare blue "LED'ed" fans? Just creates more of a clutterfuck in my already clutterfucked home.
What kind of case doesn't have cooling at all? Are you talking about the ones with a solid front? Those are doors, and they have fans behind them, with holes on all the sides except the face.

Avoid the red ones! They make your computer overheat!
Blue LEDs make your computer run cooler.
Red LEDs make your computer run hotter.
Green LEDs make your computer run faster.
Some may say, "But I thought red made a car faster, so why not your PC?" What they have failed to realise is that it's red [b]paint[/b] on the car, where as the red LEDs are emitting [b]light[/b] and the primary colours of paint (red, yellow and blue) are different to that of the primary colours of light (red, green and blue).

Seems like it would be easy to turn major profit using those cheap LED cases though. Newegg has one for 50 bucks, so throw some mediocre hardware in there, sell for $500, and whammo! Decent profit. Shit, I need to start doing that.
I love LEDS. Once, (me and my buddy keith story here) me and my brother connected around 100 LEDs in series and we connected it to this variable voltage thingamajigy, turns out that the LEDs werent rated for the voltage/current we were cranking out so they flashed super bright, melted then started this big ass fire so my brother went inside for an extingusiher. he then got close to the fire and it started spitting hot plastic EVERYWHERE, he lost part of his beard that day but he says it was worth it.
What about pink computers?

I looked but i could only find one purple led fan and it was an 80mm, too small.
When I do get around to buying a new case I'll probably get one with blue fans, buy some purple LEDs and borrow a soldering iron.
Easier to make maybe?

Ele tape works well too.
I got an iron for 14 bucks it's got all the trimmings.
how about take out the shit fans and replace them with good ones that don't have leds.
