just bootcamp with windows 7

If you didn't know what you wanted to do with the quite expensive iMac, it was dumb to buy it in the first place. And as written in the above posts: Use bootcamp, if you wanna play games. Edit: Sorry for the word dumb, bad choice of words, but quite describing anyway...
No, it won't be stupid, mac sucks. That's just my opinion any way. Windows rules.
No, it won't be stupid, mac sucks. That's just my opinion any way. Windows rules.
You can't make that judgment, I'm 85% sure that you've never even been on a Mac computer. :(
You can't make that judgment, I'm 85% sure that you've never even been on a Mac computer. :(
because they cost a shitload more than a pc and don't have much more to offer
because they cost a shitload more than a pc and have much less to offer
Fixed :smug: But seriously, just use bootcamp and game on that.
it's basically the same statement, you just worded it differently
I go on Macs occasionally in college. I hate them, won't even start on reasons why. I think it's mainly due to me been used to PCs for so long though. But they still seem horrible, but hey they look nice. :downs: Also, if you game a lot, just get a PC, if not, it's not worth the money to buy a whole new system.
don't have much more to offer

have much less to offer
You're implying that the Mac has more to offer than a pc. To be honest OP, just stick with your Mac since selling it won't net you anywhere near as much as you paid for it. Run Bootcamp for games like everyone else in this thread is stating.
You're implying that the Mac has more to offer than a pc.
Bad reading x1.
Bad reading x1.
<-- +2
Well with steam coming to mac, you may be alright for a bit.
no i'm not I said mac's cost a shitload more than a pc and don't have much more to offer.
And I said that a mac cost a shitload more, and have much LESS to offer, there's actually a difference between "more" and "less"... But hey, didn't disagree with your first statement so, no need to start ´saying our opinions a shitload of times..
you have it just use what you got
No, it won't be stupid, mac sucks. That's just my opinion any way. Windows rules.
expert opinion clearly.
Bootcamp windows your imac has gaming specs. i5 or i7 maybe even a core 2 duo 3.33ghz and a 4850.
Yeah, I've got the i5.. Okay, I am going to buy a new computer with i7, and stuff. For C++ programming and gonna keep my iMac so I have both.. I have a job, so I'm paying for it all by myself!
Yeah, I've got the i5.. Okay, I am going to buy a new computer with i7, and stuff. For C++ programming and gonna keep my iMac so I have both.. I have a job, so I'm paying for it all by myself!
you're going to get an i7 for programming?
you're going to get an i7 for programming?
No, if it was for gaming I would go for Quad Core.. The i7 is mainly for C++ programming.. and then a bit of gaming, but not primarily.
No, if it was for gaming I would go for Quad Core.. The i7 is mainly for C++ programming.. and then a bit of gaming, but not primarily.
i7 is a quad core [editline]06:41PM[/editline] i didnt know programming needs 4 cores and 8 threads
No, if it was for gaming I would go for Quad Core.. The i7 is mainly for C++ programming.. and then a bit of gaming, but not primarily.
You have no idea what you are talking about
i7 is a quad core
Unless it's the 980X! but that would be silly...
Unless it's the 980X! but that would be silly...
i still class the 980x as i9 so not in the same league as i7's
i still class the 980x as i9 so not in the same league as i7's
But the rest of the world doesn't. So there.
But the rest of the world doesn't. So there.
but i like to be different :saddowns:
