Speaking as someone who doesn't know much about music, the only thing I see you could improve on is recording software.

What's wrong with Audacity? It has nothing more/less to offer than any other software that records audio afaik

I dunno, it just sounds like the audio could have been clearer. Like I said, I don't know much about these things.
Keyboard sounds cheap as hell imo... Would use midi + VST instead.

Then I wouldn't really be playing it.. as I could edit that to be as perfect as I want. The entire point is to show my skill in playing it outright.

I'm recording straight through a 3.5mm male to male cable, probably an issue with that.
