In other words, the sky is blue.
At some point the cards will no longer be profitable due to difficulty. At that time an rx 580 or a gtx 1060 will sell for $100.
Why go there anyways tbh
Why go there anyways tbh
It's nice to get something immediately instead of waiting for shipping, Their prices aren't always great but Amazon's are and they price match. Plus if there's an issue It's easier to return than something ordered.
Why go there anyways tbh
TV Discounts can be alright there from time to time (Black Friday mainly).
Why go there anyways tbh
Because last summer they were the only place where you could still get most mid end cards, like the 1070, for prices less than outright extortion. Other than the occasional sale or immediate need for something, no reason. Their sales people are fucking annoyingly aggressive and tbh the environment is therefore unlikable at best.
although the price spike is new, cryptominers have been shitting up the GPU market for years. I have never seen a gtx 1070 sell for $380 like nvidia said they would
