• Tesla Labs in Long Island?

I was aimlessly searching around youtube, and I stumbled upon this video of these urbexers exploring the abandoned wardonclyffe nikola tesla labs in Long Island, so I researched it a bit, because I really want to go there cause its pretty close, and I found out that someone was planning on taring it down, and I can't find an answer anywhere on the internet on whether or not its been torn down, so I'm wondering if anyone on here could verify whether it is still standing or not, cause if it is im getting my ass down there, also a small update on that building near my house that I talked about in a previous thread, I have been there, not inside though because my friends wont go inside with me, but my dad says he will go in with me lol hopefully once this terrible hurricane blows over I will. no one...
If it's "pretty close", just go down there and see if it's still standing. Simple. Also, longest run-on sentence ever.
There's a button next to your comma button. You use it to end sentences when they get too long.
well by pretty close I mean like 45 minutes away, I don't really want to drive 45 minutes just to find out that its gone, but since no one is really helping me here, I'll do it anyway EDIT: the reason I say pretty close is because (not knowing much about Nikola Tesla) I expected it to be in a different country
you can use nearmap.com to see if it's still there using the date slider or just go outside and actually explore
I like to speak in really really long annoying sentences too, maybe we should meet up and form a club for people who like to speak in really long sentences, that would be pretty cool, I mean, imagine all the new people we would meet and stuff.

According to google maps it's still there. Hell, if it is gone you could at least try and get a look at the Shoreham nuclear power plant that was never used, it's a short walk away.
I remember watching a Modern Marvels episode of Tesla. They visit that exact location and opened it up. It's practically empty, most machinery removed. Still would be a cool location to visit.
It was dismantled in 1917 (the Wardenclyff Tower). The site may still be there.
