Fuck i thought this was a real thing. [editline]30th April 2014[/editline] guy in the vid needs to stop mumbling.
I'm close to finishing my second play through of Deus Ex and it looks like I'm going to have to do a third when this comes out. Should I do another stealth run? I'm doing a stealth run currently.

I'm waiting for a official remake of Deus Ex but I best keep imaginating about it.
It wouldn't be a faithful recreation and it wouldn't be up to par with the original. On the off chance that a full remake ever comes along and the team developing it (definitely won't be Eidos) manages to make it not suck, they need to make an awesome Unatco storyline which was ultimately cut in the original. Always thought it'd be an interesting take hunting down Tong and the major players of that resistance network from the other side, still completely oblivious to MJ12 of course.
There's plenty of missions that didn't make it into the final game that were written by the original devs shown in the Deus Ex bible, that'd be cool to see in a remake. I don't think anything could capture the same feeling as the original though, classics should stay untouched.
I would definitely be down for a modern remake (or mod). Something like Ocarina of Time for 3DS. I never played Deus Ex back in the day, and I just can't get into it. Not trying to sound like a graphics snob (heck, I still play DOOM and Duke Nukem 3D from time to time) but the game just looks so rough. I've installed a few mods to make it look a bit nicer, but I still haven't bothered to make it through the first level. I know, I know - but the visuals are a huge barrier to getting me drawn in.

I always thought it was the gameplay that was the barrier to Deus ex, the RPG elements takes some getting used to. It took me 3 tries to actually get into the game, now it's my favorite FPSRPG. I never play through story-driven RPG games more than once, but Deus Ex actually has some replayability. There's a huge amount of playstyle choices and dialogue. I missed tons of secrets and entire side-mission areas on my first playthrough, it really rewards you for exploring, and that makes up for the graphics IMO
