Win7 setup asks for CD/DVD drive drivers, blocks me from installing

I don't even have a DVD drive on this PC, I'm installing from a USB flashdrive and I've tried swapping the USB port it's plugged into, which is all google is giving me.
It's a brand new PC, dunno if parts matter but the motherboard is a Gigabyte Z68AP-D3 so it's USB 3.0.
Try this:
When it asks for the driver, click cancel and you'll be brought back to the welcome screen. At this screen, remove the USB driver and plug it back into a DIFFERENT port, then try installing again
It's probably a corrupted installation. Try creating another installation from another ISO.
I was helping OP with this yesterday over Steam, we've tried both of these solutions and more, nothing seems to help. We also found out that the HDD was pretty much DOA (bad sectors everywhere), is it possible that could cause the problem?

Yeah, that's the USB swapping thing I tried, it just gives me the same error and asks for drivers again.
It's probably a corrupted installation. Try creating another installation from another ISO.
Tried this too, tried to image the flashdrive with two different programs for it as well, both do this.
Check to be sure your SATA ports are in AHCI mode in the BIOS. Weird, yes, but it fixed one for me a few years back.

Huh, someone else told me to make sure they're in IDE mode, I guess it depends on the motherboard? I'll try it anyway.
I have had this problem before. Nothing seemed to fix it, not even the AHCI drivers etc. The only thing that fixed it for me was using another installation ISO I downloaded. I think it's caused by a corrupted installer.
