Just wondering, is there anything wrong with 3 sticks of 512 mb ram and a fourth of 256mb? Could the memory difference potentially cause any problems?
No. Nevertheless, I hope all of them have the same speed
Well, thanks I guess.
If your sticks don't match then you don't get dual channel benefits. However, I have done testing and found that more memory beats dual channel in most cases. Keep in mind you need to run the memory at the speed and timings of your slowest stick.
