• Low Profile PCI Video Card?

Can anyone suggest a low profile pci video card (Preferably with DirectX 9 support)? Needs to work with this motherboard. I'm having trouble finding one. I was looking at an ATI Rage 128 Pro card, but it only supports DirectX 6. (This certainly isn't for gaming, but it's got to at least be able to handle GoldSRC).
For what type of thing? It already has a built in video card (Intel GMA 3150). That should work for just about anything, excluding of course higher-end games. Edit: How about that
Generally stating a budget is also useful. Perhaps also your current PSU.

I'm seeing what PSU I need after I get all the parts I want together. [editline]19th February 2011[/editline]
For what type of thing?
Thanks, that'll be perfect.
No, it won't. That's a PCI-E x1 card, not PCI. This one should work out for you. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814187057
1 x PCI Express x1 Mini Card connector fucking read the MoBo link, bitches! Also, this is your only hope, I think. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814500164&cm_re=PCI_x1-_-14-500-164-_-Product
PCI, not PCIe x1 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814129156 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814187057 Looks like you'd have to swap out the backplate yourself on the 2nd one, but those can run GoldSRC more than fine.

Yeah the D510MO have both a PCI and a PCI express X1 port, though the latter is the laptop equivalent, meant for wireless LAN cards. So OP needs a PCI video card. Own a D510MO myself, though I use it with a VIA S-ata pci card in a fileserver.

The (PCIe) Mini Card adapter is to the left of the upside down E210882 text on the picture above. That's for WLAN adapters.
So wait, what? So this video card instead?

Might be a bit bottlenecked by the PCI bus, but whatever. It's still MUCH better than the integrated.
Yeah, that should do the trick nicely. Might be a bit bottlenecked by the PCI bus, but whatever. It's still MUCH better than the integrated.
Should do Source games perfectly fine. My old PCI 8400GS did anyway, and that 9400 seems a lot better.
Should do Source games perfectly fine. My old PCI 8400GS did anyway, and that 9400 seems a lot better.
Well then OP shouldn't be worried at all. As long as he doesn't crank up all the eyecandy.
The 9400 will actually play BF:BC2 like a fast slideshow, if you dump enough down on settings. Tested with an Intel Celeron E3300.
So I've got this -
Motherboard/CPU - Intel BOXD510MO + Intel Atom D510 (1.66Ghz Dual Core) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813121399&Tpk=Intel%20D510MO $90 GPU - Low profile PCI 512mb Graphics Card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814187057&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&AID=10446076&PID=3640869&SID=skim629X1198X8a9d9474fc1c1b226fd64d39fe575010 $75 RAM - 2GB Ram http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148236&nm_mc=OTC-Froogle&cm_mmc=OTC-Froogle-_-Memory+(Desktop+Memory)-_-Rendition-_-20148236 $35 Hard Drive - 250GB Notebook SATA 3Gb/s Hard Drive http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822152234&nm_mc=OTC-Froogle&cm_mmc=OTC-Froogle-_-Hard+Drives+-+Notebooks+/+Laptops-_-SAMSUNG-_-22152234 $50 CD Drive - Slim internal CD Drive http://www.compuvest.com/Desc.jsp?iid=1585465 $25 Case/PSU - ARK Mini-ITX Case (MAY NEED MODIFICATION!) + 300W Power Supply http://www.directron.com/pi01sb.html?gsear=1 $45 Total - $325 (shipping and tax included).
I'm guessing that the case needs to be modified to fit in the GPU, but that's not a problem for me. Side note, I've actually got a 8400 GS in my current computer.
