It really shouldn't be that hard to identify a good/bad song.

Let me try to clarify why I think this cover is horrible.

Her voice is no more spectacular than any other two-bit singer you can find littered throughout youtube or on a local public television show. That would be forgivable, however what's not forgivable is the attitude she emanates. Whether it's for the faux recording screen in the beginning or the retarded facial theatrics she's continuously overdoing, it's hard not to cringe.

There is nothing remarkable about it. Ultimately, its worst flaw is that it's completely forgettable, in fact so much so that it's almost insulting.

Sure it might not be fair that I used Bob Dylan as a counterexample, so instead I'll use a relatively unknown singer to again try and illustrate what I think is a good cover.
