I know that this movie came out six months ago, but there wasn't any threads about it, and it's great to me, i wanted to make a thread about it.

In the future humans have extended and improved our lives through highly sophisticated and expensive mechanical organs created by a company called "The Union". The dark side of these medical breakthroughs is that if you don't pay your bill, "The Union" sends its highly skilled repo men to take back its property... with no concern for your comfort or survival. Former soldier Remy is one of the best organ repo men in the business. But when he suffers a cardiac failure on the job, he awakens to find himself fitted with the company's top-of-the-line heart-replacement... as well as a hefty debt. But a side effect of the procedure is that his heart's no longer in the job. When he can't make the payments, The Union sends its toughest enforcer, Remy's former partner Jake, to track him down.
Score:
Rotten Tomatoes: 22% (Tomatometer); 44% (Audience)
Metacritic: 32% (Metascore); 5.1 (User score)
It may not have a good score, but it was very fun.

The viral advertising for this movie was actually sort of well done, but the movie itself just didn't get a good critical score.
This movie was utter garbage.
The only thing that made me not hate the guts out of the movie was the ending.

use search bro. I actually thought you bumped my thread.
kill all your customers so they can't pay their debt, great business model broskis.

Uh, yeah. It kind of is.
They don't get the full price of the organ, but when someone falls behind on payments, they take the organ back, and can put it back in stock.
So not only do they get some of the money for the product, they can sell it again and again until someone manages to pay the full price.
Meaning they could potentially get way more profit out of each product than they would just selling it once.
This movie looked really good but then I read the reviews and it said that [sp]it was all a dream[/sp], which is like the worst ending possible.

Yeah, a very used cliché, but it wasn't [sp]all a dream[/sp], and it fits, unlike in most of the movies.
How could Forest Whitaker be in such a shit movie?

this, just a terrible ending.
Clearly none of you would like Terry Gilliam's Brazil if you didn't like Repo Men.
This is the most original plot ever, they did not steal it.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Repo!
Oh, wait.
They definitely, definitely stole the ending from Brazil.
However, Gilliam's Brazil was executed much, much better than this film.

Not just the ending. Pretty much the whole plot is the same as Brazil except a few things are adjusted.
[sp]A guy who serves an authority falls in love with someone who is being wronged by the same authority, and decides to leave the authority. They manage to live outside of the law for a while before being captured, and then the guy manages to make a miraculous escape with his love interest, but it turns out it was just a dream, which was caused by a friend. The only actual differences to the plot itself is that the main character falls in love before leaving the authority in Brazil, and after in Repo Men, and the main character's friend caused his dream inadvertently in Brazil, and intentionally in Repo Men.[/sp]
Also, if you want to analyze the main points of the films as well, Brazil was about governments that were too powerful, and Repo Men was about corporations that were too powerful.

You seriously don't see that this one is called Repo Men?
"rock ballad" or whatever amirite
A ballad is a single song.
It's rock opera.
Also, I don't see a single point in your post.
