Antec Basiq PSUs are not good at all.
Get the Corsair.
But get the GTS 450 instead of the 5770.

Corsair = better brand, higher quality, and great customer support.
Not saying Antec is a bad brand, not at all. Its just I've read a lot of reviews about how unstable they can be.

Yeh I would trust an Antec Basiq on a low end build with a 4650, 5550, or a 9600GSO. However, I would rather get a better Antec series PSU or better brand for a GTS 450.

that's fine, but it's never a bad idea to cover all occurrences of hardware, rather than one, isolated, hardware configuration. Besides, I'd be willing to bet your GTX 460 may be scraping the edge of your PSU's ability.

Not really, although it is the 550W version. Here are the rest of my specs in case you're interested:
Athlon x4 635 O.C'd to 3.8GHz
4GB DDR3 RAM
1 optical drive
1 250GB HDD and 1 500GB HDD

Ok, but you cannot deny that Corsair is a superior PSU to the Antec Basiq series, and that's all ghost is trying to do here, go with an excellent quality PSU that won't let you down.
In the end, you could do better than Antec Basiq.

It also leaves less room for expansion, also those low end corsair PSUs are of dubious quality

Well with the pattern we have right now, GPUs are starting to use less and less power, and I doubt he will ever SLI them.
I personally know the OP.

Antec is a VERY GOOD brand for PSUs. Only a few lines of their's you shoudl stay away from like basiq and ecogreen or whatever it was

Their Earthwatts are decent. But their NEO PSUs are where its at.
